Our male greyhounds are important members of the ARK Kennel family. They are beautiful to watch as they compete on the lure course and in Fast Cat competitions.
Also known as Bug (Lightning Bug or Love Bug), Lightning is the big boy around the kennel at nearly 90lbs. His shiny black coat garners admiration anytime he is in public. Lightning’s ancestors are a mix of NGA Racing Greyhounds and a few show dogs. Despite his size, he still thinks he’s a lap dog and climbs up in the recliner with his owner every chance he gets. Lighting earned his BCAT this past racing season and won 2 best in breeds on the lure course. His number one personality trait is he loves to love his humans. AKC & NGA Registered.
Dodger is a Blue Greyhound, which is not very common among American Racing Greyhounds. These beautiful dogs are popular in Australia and the UK Greyhound racing scene. Dodger comes from a long line of Racing Greyhounds. In fact, several of his ancestors raced in Phoenix, Arizona, just a few miles from our kennel. Dodger will begin his racing on the lure course and the Fast Cat field later in the fall of 2024, and, given his racing heritage, we expect he will perform well. Dodger is Registered with the AKC and NGA.
At ARK Kennels, we breed healthy greyhound puppies for companionship and amateur sport. A friendly sighthound will be a wonderful addition to your family.
