Our male greyhounds are important members of the ARK Kennel family. They are beautiful to watch as they compete on the lure course and in Fast Cat competitions.
The newest addition to our kennel was pulled at the last minute from heading to WV to begin his professional racing career, lucky for us. He did not have a racing name yet, so we named him Hoss in tribute to Phoenix Greyhound Park’s all-time win leader (Wigwam Hoss). He raced well in his Lure Coursing debut and is looking forward to siring future litters at the kennel, as well as pursuing his AKC racing career. Hoss is a Blue Brindle and is registered with the NGA and AKC.
Dodger is a Blue Greyhound, which is not very common among American Racing Greyhounds. These beautiful dogs are popular in Australia and the UK Greyhound racing scene. Dodger comes from a long line of Racing Greyhounds. In fact, several of his ancestors raced in Phoenix, Arizona, just a few miles from our kennel. Dodger will begin his racing on the lure course and the Fast Cat field later in the fall of 2024, and, given his racing heritage, we expect he will perform well. Dodger is Registered with the AKC and NGA.
